Go on a short hike to Bleiberg mountain, a wonderful location with magnificent views of Irdning valley. In memory of those who once lived here, we have erected a wayside “shrine”, here in a place where you can linger and relax during your walk.
This fascinating sculpture of hands holding soil is designed to remind us of our responsibility for the environment around us. It is our obligation to maintain and protect it. After all, we hold the world in our hands.
We are its guardians, and also need to celebrate and express gratitude for it.
This is where our roots are; it was here the history of the GSTEMMER family began... but it’s best to read about it on the spot - it’s worth a hike as is the story too.
